A love for beautiful spaces that began long before Muted Stone.

Darlene Nobles’ love for interiors began when she was just four years old. Her mother would bring home design magazines filled with beautiful rooms and homes. She may not have been able to read all the words yet, but she could understand the pictures. She studied the rooms—the furniture, colors, architecture, and details, and imagined the possibilities within them.

That childhood fascination never disappeared. Over the years, it grew into a deeper appreciation for interior decorating, home organization, architecture, materials, and the way thoughtful design can completely change how a space feels.

With training in Interior Decorating and Home Organization, Darlene eventually found herself helping friends and family reimagine their own spaces.

Where the Vision Led

What began as a childhood fascination with beautiful rooms became a lifelong appreciation for thoughtful design. Over time, that passion found new ways to grow—through education, helping others with their spaces, and continuing to imagine what a room could become.

Muted Stone Interiors grew from that same desire: to help others see possibilities within the spaces they already have. Through virtual design, Darlene brings together color, texture, furniture, materials, and thoughtful details to create visual concepts that offer a fresh perspective on home.

Muted Stone is new. The love of design behind it is not.
